The B. Woofer Guitar is an adorable dog shaped guitar, perfect for teaching music and creating fun for little ones. I think this toy is adorable and the music choices keep it from being overly repetitive and boring.
This adorable guitar is packaged openly with a small cardboard package around the bottom. It is also packaged in “try me” mode so it plays a lot of music when you are trying to get it open.
The Playtime Experience
One of the coolest things about the B. Woofer Guitar is that it has multiple songs and multiple settings to use. The guitar strings are also interactive and play music notes when you strum them. The guitar has multiple nursery rhyme songs plays them in one of the three choices for acoustic, electric and hound dog settings. The music is dog-themed and peppy and the dog shape of the guitar adds to the cute and fun nature of this toy. It also has a dial to control the volume level which is a huge win for parents! The included booklet has several songs and information about chord progression which is a really cool way to incorporate learning into this playtime.
Things I Liked
I really like the three different settings for the music and that the strings are interactive. The dial for volume control gives you a lot of control regarding the volume and I really appreciate that.
Things I Didn't Like
I don’t have anything I disliked about this toy, I found the “hound dog” setting slightly irritating but it was also sort of cute so I can’t hate it.
Appropriate Ages
This dog-themed music toy is recommended for children 2 and older. I think this toy will easily grow with small music lovers and be enjoyed for years.
Final Note
I give the B. Woofer Guitar two “paws” up. It’s really cute as a first instrument type toy and would be great for any small music lover. I love that the manufacturer was considerate enough to have a good variety of songs and a dial for controlling the volume. It really adds to the overall enjoyment and practicality of this toy.
