I have played with several different types of science kits and some have been…less than thrilling. However, I played with the Be Amazing! Toys Frozen Science Kit this week and I only did one of the many experiments. It blew my mind!

Age Range: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 year olds

This Frozen Science Kit is compactly and neatly organized in a small box. Once that is open all the supplies are packaged in a large plastic bag. You really don’t have to supply anything extra, all the needed direction and supplies are included. Be Amazing! Toys Frozen Science Kit

The Playtime Experience

I chose to do the “Instant Snow” experiment. All I had to do was use the included scoop and cups to measure out the instant snow mix and add my own 9 oz of room temperature water. The instructions tell you to quickly dump all the water into the cup with the instant snow mixture and watch closely. When you do the mixture quickly turns into a sort of slush and then quickly turns into snow. The snow grows and grows until it overfills the cup and is everywhere! Frozen Science Kit

Things I Liked

I like that the science kit doesn’t require you to go shopping in order to get started with the play time.

Things I Didn't Like

The instructions should have mentioned how difficult the instant snow is to clean up if you don’t put the cup on a plate or baking sheet!

Appropriate Ages

This science kit is great for young scientists as young as 4 years of age. The experiments aren’t complex and they are educational.

Final Note

So I was super impressed with the Be Amazing! Toys Frozen Science Kit. After some of the other science kits I have played with, I truly wasn’t expecting much when I opened the box. But just the one experiment I did was super cool and I was thoroughly impressed that I didn’t have to go shopping for additional supplies to get started. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fT_StnYp7IM (You may also like: 25 Best Science Experiment Kits for Kids)
