The unboxing for this toy couldn’t have been easier. Once I had the outer packaging opened I was able to loosen it from the package by untying the cardboard/paper rope ties from the bottom and the back of the Chuckle Ball and remove it from all of its packaging.
The Chuckle Ball twists apart to reveal the motor and the battery compartment inside. It requires 4 AA batteries to get started and then twists close again and locks in place. The on/off switch is on the side in the form of a white push button. The push button on the side pushes in to turn on and then you must shake the ball to activate play time. When the Chuckle Ball is engaged it bounces around on the rubberized silly animal faces. When I planted it in front of my 18 month old, he couldn’t quite smiling.
I really like how colorful and fun this toy is. It is hilarious to watch bounce around with all the accompanying sound effects.
I actually liked everything about this toy. I have no complaints about my play time!
This toy is recommended for players 18 months old and older. This is a good toy for crawlers and walkers since it does bounce all over the place and it encourages them to be active and follow it around.
While the Chuckle Ball isn’t exactly educational or useful as a toy, it is a lot of fun. Sometimes toys are just cool to have and play with. My toddler really liked following it around, holding it while it bounced and making lots of crazy noises. I give it two thumbs up for fun!
