Glitter Nails are big in the beauty world right now, but the thought of loose glitter is enough to send most of us moms to running for the hills! The Creativity for Kids Glitter Nail Art set is a great way to let your little one create their own nail art, while keeping the potential mess under control.
CHECK PRICEThis set was easy to unbox and get ready for play. The package insert acts as an application tray to collect the excess glitter and minimize the mess. I am not sure how you would continue to store this toy outside its factory packaging so make sure you hold on to all the pieces. Inside the kit are 3 water-based nail polishes (pink, purple and clear with each color having glitter mixed in), several tins of different colored loose glitter, a large tin of large size glitter pieces, a pair of tweezers, a nail file and an adorable mesh carry bag for storing your items together.
As you can imagine, playtime with the Creativity for Kids Glitter Nail Art is pretty self-explanatory. File nails, pick colors and go to town on that manicure. I do like that there are several color options and you can make lots of combinations for a funky glitter mani/pedi of your choice.
I like that this set comes with a mesh carry bag and an application tray. I also like the variety and amount of product it offers for many manicures to come.
On the other hand, while I like the application tray, I also dislike that it is part of the packaging and is so large in size. It really wouldn’t have taken much to have a separate plastic tray for the same purpose, that would have fit in the mesh carry bag.
This Nail Art kit is recommended for all manicure lovers 7 and older. The package actually says 7-97 so this really is a kit to span a lifetime of nail art fun. I can’t see why a younger child wouldn’t be able to also enjoy this kit but it would definitely require more adult supervision and help (to avoid that running for the hills issue we mentioned before!).
The Creativity for Kids Glitter Nail Art is a hit in my book. It was inexpensive and came with a lot of product. I don’t think I could have purchased all the same supplies for any less than the kit cost me and it certainly wouldn’t have been as cute or convenient. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this kit again and I look forward to my next manicure time.
