If your kid watches as much Disney Channel as mine does, then you will be familiar with the character from our toy, the Disney Elena of Avalor Adventure Dress Doll. Elena is the crown princess of Avalor and is learning to rule her kingdom with justice, kindness and wisdom, the doll provides kids the opportunity to act out their favorite adventures with Elena.
CHECK PRICEUnboxing the Elena of Avalor doll is much like unboxing any other doll. The doll is secured in the package with several plastic ties and clear rubber bands but once these are clipped she is easy to remove from the package. Once unboxed you have one Elena of Avalor doll in a long, flowy red dress, removable shes and a removable hair barrette. She also comes with her scepter which she uses to rule Avalor in the cartoon.
The Disney Elena of Avalor Adventure Dress Doll is a beautiful doll and maintains a likeness very close to the character on the television show. She has a lot of small details that add to the overall quality of the doll. Not only is her dress and shoes removable but her earrings also move and her barrette is detachable. She is made very well and very similar to Barbie dolls in many ways.
I really enjoyed the small details on this doll. The moving earrings and scepter accessory provided the quality I love to see in doll toys. I also like how closely she resembles the animated character since it provides a more true to character play time.
I wish that Elena had come with at least one more outfit. I don’t think she would fit in standard Barbie clothes so even though her clothes are removable, there really isn’t anything else to dress her in.
Due to the small pieces with the Elena of Avalor doll, she is recommended for players over 3.
I thing this doll is a great gift for kids who really enjoy watching Elena of Avalor on the Disney Channel. This program introduces adventure and culture in a very cute way and I think kids will really enjoy the opportunity to create their own adventures with this doll. The price point was extremely affordable so I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase the Disney Elena of Avalor Adventure Dress Doll again myself.
