I am still on the hunt for the best Moana themed doll set I can find. I’ve played with several dolls but none with as complete a set as the Disney Moana Starlight Canoe and Friends. This set is actually a projector as well which when in use will project the moon on the wall.

CHECK PRICEThere is a lot included in this set, so the unboxing is extensive. Once the main box is open, you will be able to pull out all the various pieces of the boat, projector as well as the doll and her friends Pua and Hei Hei.
Playing with the Disney Moana Starlight Canoe and Friends, there is a lot to do. The boat pieces snap together very easily and the 2 AA batteries are install on the underside of the front boat piece. The bottom of the boat has two wheels that when you push it, makes the boat rock back and forth as if on the sea. Moana is dressed in her outfit from the movie, with lots of thick, brown, curly hair. She also has her paddle which fits on her hand. Also included in this set are her friends the pig Pua and her chicken friend Hei Hei.
The real fun starts when the lights go out and the boat can project an image of the moon on the wall.
I really like the projector and all the details on the boat in this set.
I wish there had been a spot to secure Moana’s legs to the boat when it is moving.
Disney’s Moana playset is recommended for fans over the age of 3.
Disney Moana Starlight Canoe and Friends is a great little playset with a very cool side note. The projector is a really cool bonus with this toy and all the little details really make this set top notch. The wheels on the bottom make the boat rock as if it is on the sea, I thought that was a nice touch. Disney always was good at thinking of all the details and making fairy tales come true!
