Unboxing
I had a somewhat difficult time getting the Poppy Bank out of the packaging. She is secured with a twist clip in the bottom of the box and the twist clip just won’t budge no matter how hard I tried to twist it. I ended up prying it out and it did break off some of the plastic which was a huge bummer. The Princess Poppy bank is a plastic bank with real Troll hair that you can brush and style. It includes all the colors needed to paint your bank, a paint brush and instructions. The instructions provide a color guide to paint Poppy just like the movie or you can express your creativity with a creation all your own.
The Playtime Experience
My play experience was extremely short-lived with the DreamWorks Trolls Poppy DIY Paint-Your-Own-Bank. My paint came out of the package in a rubberized, hardened state that was not redeemable. I wasn’t able to paint anything and I was so disappointed!
Things I Liked
I like the concept of this bank. She is really cute standing on a pedestal with a rainbow backdrop and the real Troll hair is a nice touch.
Things I Didn't Like
I was very sad that this set came to me irreparably dried out. I just got it and it was already unusable. That was really disappointing.
Appropriate Ages
Painters 3 and older are the perfect pair with the Princess Poppy Bank.
Final Note
Although the idea behind this set is great, I was bitterly disappointed by my experience with the DreamWorks Trolls Poppy DIY Paint-Your-Own-Bank. My paints were irreparable and it made me super sad!
