Unboxing
Poppy is packaged clearly with her accessories and is easily removed from the package by separating the plastic face from the cardboard backing. Included in the packaging is Princess Poppy, a snail from the forrest, a snail look-a-like comb for Poppy’s hair, a felt cupcake, a cake stand and a three-tiered cake with a piece taken out.
The Playtime Experience
This Party Pack is primarily a imagination driven play experience. Poppy cannot stand on her own but you can put her hair in her big pony tail or comb it straight up. This set is very cute but very simple.
Things I Liked
I like that Princess Poppy’s hair is big and can be played with to create the hairstyles she wears in the movies.
Things I Didn't Like
I don’t like that Princess Poppy can’t stand on her own because I feel this detracts from the play experience.
Appropriate Ages
Due to the small pieces in this set it is recommended for Troll’s fans over 3 years of age.
Final Note
The DreamWorks Trolls Poppy’s Party Story Pack was very inexpensive and very cute. The play experience is primarily imagination driven but I think the fact that Poppy doesn’t have any of her Troll’s friends and she can’t stand on her own, made me lose a lot of my interest in this play set. It’s an affordable way to surprise your little Trolls fan but don’t expect the play time to last a real long time with this one.
