Unboxing
There really wasn’t any type of unboxing with this toy. It was shipped to me wrapped in plastic and all the accessories were packaged inside the lunch box in a plastic bag.
The Playtime Experience
The play time with this toy is simple. The four accessory pieces each have a different sensory component. The cookie is a crinkle material, the milk says “moo” three times when squeezed, the sandwich is a rattle and the carrot is a squeaker when squeezed. The Lunch box itself doesn’t do anything besides open, close with a Velcro closure, and can be carried around with a small red handle.
Things I Liked
I really like the different sensory inputs with each of the four accessory pieces.
Things I Didn't Like
I don’t like that there isn’t really any structure to the lunch box. I like that it is plush and safe but it has no structure and stays partially folded up because of the way it was packaged.
Appropriate Ages
There is no minimum age requirement for this Gund plush toy.
Final Note
This Gund Sesame Street Cookie Monster Lunch Box Playset is extremely cute and well thought out. I wish the lunchbox itself had just a little more structure but the sensory components of this toy are great for very young players to discover their world.
