Unboxing
By clipping two paper-like rope ties from around the handle of the Hyper Toss, I was able to remove it and the package instructions from the box. Also included is a medium size ball, somewhat similar to a hacky-sac.
The Playtime Experience
The Hyper Toss Game has several modes of play including a time trial, memory game and more. The modes for play can be selected by how many times you press the main Hyper Toss button. In game play mode, the unit calls out instructions on which colored cup to catch the ball in. When the ball is caught in the appropriate cup it depresses a small button inside the cup and the unit moves on to the next instruction. If you miss, or take too long, the game with time-out and a buzzer sounds.
Things I Liked
I really liked the time trial mode with the Hyper Toss Game. I found myself trying to beat my own time over and over again.
Things I Didn't Like
There isn’t anything I didn’t like about this game. I like that you can play with multiple players by beating the clock. And play to beat yourself by moving up the levels.
Appropriate Ages
Hyper Toss Action Game is recommended for players over 8 years of age. I imagine this is largely due to how much hand-eye coordination it takes to play the game successfully. However, I don’t think it is out of the question that a younger player could also enjoy this game.
Final Note
I really enjoyed my experience with the Hyper Toss Action Game. It was a lot of fun, fast-paced and surprisingly challenging. I wasn’t very good at the game, admittedly, but I look forward to honing my Hyper Toss skills!
