I’ve always been into Star Wars and Rogue One’s new droid K-2SO had my heart right from the start. He is a captain of sarcasm which I can always relate to and dare I say he was adorable? So when I found myself the LEGO Star Wars K-2SO kit and I had the chance to build my own K-2SO I couldn’t wait to get building.
As with most LEGO building kits all the pieces come in baggies with a booklet of instructions to get started.
The Playtime Experience
It took me several build sessions to complete finish my K-2SO build. The instructions weren’t hard to follow but there were lots of pieces. It has 169 pieces so there are many steps to completing each portion of the droid build.
Things I Liked
I really like LEGO and the step by step instructions for the build.
Things I Didn't Like
There isn’t really anything to dislike about the K-2SO build. The section in the instructions about the attachment of the torso was a little bit difficult to follow but everything else was easy enough.
Appropriate Ages
This LEGO build kit has a lot of pieces and is a bit more complex so it is recommended for builders 9-14 years of age.
Final Note
I enjoyed building my LEGO Star Wars K-2SO. The finished product is really cool looking and is a great way to start a Star Wars collection. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this and purchase more of the Star Wars LEGO build kits.
