CHECK PRICEI had an easy time getting ready for play with the Service Station Parking Garage, the whole collection is wrapped in plastic that once clipped, comes off a lot like shrink-wrap. Once this is removed, the cars can be removed from a simple cardboard sleeve and the whole set can be lifted from the base for play time.
The whole Melissa & Doug Service Station Parking Garage With 2 Wooden Cars and Drive-Thru Car Wash is made of wood and that great fresh-cut wood smell is ever present once it is removed from the packaging. Everything is really well made and the small details made this a lot of fun. There is a the parking garage that has a working elevator and working stop bar. The car was has a working belt and small details like a cotton roller for the washer. There is also a gas pump along the side that has a removable pump for a realistic feel.
I love how high the quality is on this Service Station play set. Everything works really well and is made of solid wood.
I actually can’t find anything to dislike with this play set. My play time with it was really enjoyable and I found all the components to be of excellent quality.
The Melissa & Doug Service Station Parking Garage With 2 Wooden Cars and Drive-Thru Car Wash is recommended for players older than 3 years of age. I can’t find anything that presents an immediate choking hazard, however, the wheels on the cars could potentially be worked off if your little one really had a mind for it.
I love Melissa & Doug toys and the Service Station Parking Garage did not disappoint. I really liked the high quality of all the pieces and the nostalgia that goes with a toy that is simple and hands on. I really wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again and look forward to more play time with Melissa & Doug toys.
