Paw Patrol Real Talking Rubble Plush (Is It Annoying?)

I love Nick Jr’s series Paw Patrol. My son and I watch all the time and I can’t get over how cute that show is. It teaches teamwork, community service, friendship and believing in yourself. I bought the Paw Patrol Deluxe Lights and Sounds Plush – Real Talking Rubble and played with it this week. While it isn’t the most exciting toy out there, he is cute and certainly put a smile on my face.

Unboxing

Rubble is easy to get out of the packaging. He is held in with plastic ties, like they use on store tags, into the box. I was able to pull him out, though I probably would have been smarter to use my scissors.

The Playtime Experience

Rubble comes dressed in his Paw Patrol uniform. When you squeeze his belly he says things like “Rubble on the double!” I didn’t really see any “lighting up” as the toy describes but it could be that mine had a burnt out bulb.

Things I Liked

I like this toy because it is based on a popular show and one of my favorite characters.

Things I Didn't Like

I was disappointed to find that my “light up” portion of this toy didn’t work as described.

Appropriate Ages

Rubble is recommended for players 3 and older, however, he doesn’t have any removable pieces or choking risks so I wouldn’t hesitate to hand it to a younger Paw Patrol fan.

Final Note

Paw Patrol Deluxe Lights and Sounds Plush – Real Talking Rubble is not an exciting toy, but it is a cute toy and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase age for my little Paw Patrol fan.
