My Sled Adventure playset came with several tubs of glitter Play-Doh in addition to what is originally part of the set. The set alone comes with a Sven Play-Doh cutter, a snow sled, an Anna doll who also has a detachable skirt for making Play-Doh shapes, and of course…Olaf! Olaf is a Play-Doh shape maker complete with his arms which are able to be place in the form maker and included in your creation. The included Play-Doh colors are a pink glitter, white glitter and two small regular Play-Doh tubs in green and purple.
Even though this play set isn’t large, there is a lot of interaction points and plenty to do. Anna’s dress can squish Play-Doh through slots on the side to make a Play-Doh skirt and the snow sled has several imprint makers on it to add designs to Anna’s dress. Sven has a roller under him that works like a Play-Doh “pizza cutter” and can help you make your designs exact by cutting off the access Play-Doh. Olaf as I said is a form maker and he is so cute in glitter white Play-Doh.
I like that there are several characters in this play set and each of them has a different interaction with the Play-Doh. There also isn’t much assembly required which is a bonus.
The Sven character is made to roll on the cutter piece attached to him and can attach to the sled via a purple harness attachment found in the box. However, he can’t pull the sled because everytime you try it pulls the harness attachment out of the sled. I think this could have been made better for sure.
This Frozen-themed play set is recommended for fans 3 and older.
I thought that the Play-Doh Sled Adventure was a very cute way to incorportate Frozen into play time. The play set was simple but there was a lot to do, and it would pair nicely with other Frozen-themed playsets. I think the Sven characters interaction with the sled could have been better, but this complaint is minor compared to the value of the toy.
