The 5 and older age range is a great time for kids to play board games with the family. I love finding games that are fun for everyone and include this young age group. The Ravensburger Funny Bunny – Children’s Game is a great addition to any family game arsenal and may be your welcome break from CandyLand and Hungry Hungry Hippos.

Age Range: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 year olds

This Ravensburger game comes in a larger and rather heavy gauge cardboard box. Once I removed the shrink wrap and opened the box I found the bunny hill for the game board, a baggie of several different colored bunnies, and several cards that had to be removed from the cardboard frames. The Playtime Experience

The instructions are very easy to follow with this Funny Bunny game so I was playing in just minutes. Essentially each play will pick a color and all the bunnies in that color are theirs. The cards are shuffled well and placed in the middle. Each player gets a turn drawing a card. The cards tell you how many spaces to move or instruction you to “click” the carrot in the center of the game board. By turning the carrot in the center until it clicks, you are changing the game board slightly as well. Somewhere on the board a hole opens up and if your bunny or someone else’s is sitting on that spot they are out of the game and must start with a new bunny at the starting line. The first person successfully to the top of the game board wins. This game requires a minimum of 2 players with a maximum of 4. Funny Bunny Children's Game Review

Things I Didn't Like

I wish more bunnies were included for more children to play at once!

Appropriate Ages

Although Funny Bunny is recommended for 5 and older. I don’t see any reason why a 4 year old could play as long as they understood the concepts.

Final Note

I am super happy I tried the Ravensburger Funny Bunny - Children's Game. This game is very unique and very simple to learn and play. I also like that it helps break up the monotony of normal games for the 5 year age group in something the whole family can play and have fun with! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQ0J18d5tsg (You may also like: Monster Factory Board Game)
